Astronomy Outreach

Astronomy is probably the oldest form of science that humans have been interested in, going all the way back to the first time we looked up at the stars. This is also one of Seanie's longest-held passions, and he likes to share it with you!

Discover a little about the size of the planets and relative distances by using peas to tractor tires...

Touch another world over 4.6 billion years old in the palm of your hand with meteorites...

Safely view the Sun through a telescope to look at sunspots, each one bigger than Earth yet seen from over 150 million kilometres away...

And learn your way around the night sky, looking at distant planets, stars, nebulae and galaxies through a telescope, looking back in time (night-time only!)

Astronomy Outreach with Seanie is suited to small groups and classrooms, as only 1 telescope can be in use. Please keep this in mind when asking on behalf of your group or organisation.
